Interview conducted by Alan Cherry as part of the LDS Afro-American Oral History Project of the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies at Brigham Young University on 7 November 1986. Lowe talks about his early life in Chicago, Illinois and his relationships with Polish neighbors. He describes his courtship and marriage to a Mormon and his conversion to the Mormon Church. He discusses his feelings about priesthood restrictions and the influence of the Church on his present life.
